The Strand Medical Centre was established in May of 1998. Founder and Medical Director, Louis A. Cona, M.D., originally from New York, is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, The General Medical Council, U.K., The British Medical Association (BMA), The Caribbean College of Family Physicians and the Cayman Islands Medical & Dental Society (Past President and present executive council member).

The Strand Medical centre also provides Work Permit Physicals, Dive Clearance Physicals, and Life Insurance Physicals.

The Strand Medical Centre, located on the pristine Seven Mile Beach area in Grand Cayman, provides medical services for the local Hotels and Condominiums, as well as, the local population. Our staff is multilingual, speaking English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, and Tagalo. The Foster’s Pharmacy is conveniently located in Strand Shopping Centre just outside our facility.

We accept most local health insurance plans, as well as, MasterCard, Visa, and Debit cards.
